In 2013, GHRC provided direct support to over 246 human rights defenders; coordinated over 30 advocacy meetings with congressional offices, as well as the State, Defense, and Justice Departments; provided support in 20 asylum cases; monitored 8 conflicts across Guatemala through verification trips; and held 12 public events.
